Meet The Team
Russell Smith
Founder & President
Russell is the president and founder of Qualitiscape Services, Inc. The company was created and began operations in 1983. Currently, Qualitiscape serves over 600 properties on a weekly basis. Russell has been in the landscape business for over 40 years. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. He is a licensed irrigator, a member of the Professional Grounds Management Society, Texas Turf Irrigation Association, and Better Business Bureau. He is responsible for the long-term goals of the company as well as the day-to-day operations to ensure the client’s every need is met.

Senior Operations Manager
Ed is a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager, bringing over 45 years of extensive landscaping expertise to our team. A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, he possesses a wealth of knowledge that encompasses everything from project management to hands-on execution. With his keen eye for detail, Ed guarantees that our daily operations run smoothly, ensuring our crews are well-coordinated and efficient. His exceptional skills make him an invaluable asset to our organization.
Rene S.
Office Administrator
Rene has been a valued member of Qualitiscape Services since 2014, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous role as our office manager for 10 years in the late 1990s. With over 30 years in office management, she expertly oversees our administrative operations, office staff, documentation, reporting, and advertising, while also providing vital support the accounting department. In essence, she’s the glue that binds our talented team together. In her spare time, Rene finds joy in giving back to the community through her dedicated charity work, reflecting her compassionate spirit.

Landscape Manager
Horticulturist with 8+ years of experience specializing in the landscape industry. René was born & raised just south of Houston, Texas; 15 miles from the gulf coast. Her home was a world of lush greenery. She was exposed to a large collection of plants during trips across the United States which sparked a passion for design and plants. An alumna of Stephen F. Austin State University as of May 2016. She was president of the SFASU Horticulture Club where she organized events; developed professional relationships and managed the club's business.
Luis V.
Operations Manager
Meet Luis, our dedicated licensed irrigation technician at Qualitiscape. With years of experience in the landscape industry, he plays a crucial role in managing landscape and sprinkler installations, as well as overseeing the procurement and delivery of products to job sites. Luis excels as a liaison between our management team and crews, making him a vital asset to our company. A proud graduate of Texas State University, in his free time he enjoys working out, running with his pup, and exploring his passion for criminal justice.
Corey
Facilities Manager
Corey is the Facilities Manager and has worked for Qualitiscape Services for over 30 years. With two technicians under his supervision, he is responsible for maintaining the fleet of more than twenty vehicles, all lawn maintenance equipment and machinery as well as any building maintenance that may arise. Corey has attended Tarrant County College as well as many Continuing Education classes to keep his technical knowledge as sharp as his mower blades.

Accounting Manager
Celina has been an integral part of Qualitiscape Services since 2016, supporting our receptionist and ensuring smooth communication when you reach out to us. Her diverse responsibilities encompass office management, payroll, and accounts payable, making her a vital asset to our team. In her spare time, you might catch her preparing delectable meals in her crockpot, with specialties like brisket tacos and baby back ribs!

Dispatch Operator
Lexi joined the Qualitiscape Services team in 2024 fresh off earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Texas. With her academic background and natural people-skills, Lexi is well-equipped to excel in her new role, and she is determined to make a great impression through her dedication to helping others and supporting her colleagues. Outside of the office, Lexi nurtures her creative passions, spending her free time baking cakes, cupcakes, and cookies, as well as crocheting.
